This site is a project for a children's poetry class through Texas Woman's University.  This site is devoted to the use of poetry in unexpected ways through "Poetry Breaks."  These breaks allow children to experience the fun and pleasure of words and language and give them a platform for experiencing poetry later in life and (hopefully) loving it and choosing to incorporate it into their adult lives.
